Challenge
Prepare an on-line issue of SRK News with the recognizable masthead from printed issues; the event photo; an overview and 6 lenghty papers — all without building a huge scrolling page or a bulky, multiple page micro-site.

Solution
We used 'accordion panels' to tuck content away until the reader wanted more information. Below the overview, each paper title expanded to reveal a synopsis of each paper; the author's photo and name with a link to the PDF of each paper. The combination of an expandable page width and use of the accordion panels allowed the entire issue to be viewed on most monitors without scrolling. Very tidy.
